Medical research continually reaffirms that there is a strong link between physical and mental health. A Psychologist aims to help their patients by helping them explore the reasons underpinning mental distress, fight depression and other mental illnesses and teach coping mechanisms.
Costs: Medicare supports Psychologist visits if you qualify for a mental health plan. MHPA Mental Health Plan can be provided by your doctor if your mental health issues qualify. This requires a double appointment and enables access to an initial 6 of a total of 10 sessions per calendar year. A Mental Health Plan reduces the out of pocket costs to approximately $25-$40 with some discounts available for Health Care Card Holders. Each Psychologist determines their own rates. Private health care rebates may apply for those who do not qualify for a Mental Health Plan.
Masters of Clinical Psychology
Zeren has worked with children, adolescents and adults in a range of settings,
including private practice, community and hospital settings, and schools. She has
worked with a variety of mental health conditions and presenting issues, including
depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment difficulties and life transitions, stress
management, relationship difficulties, self-esteem issues, and grief and loss.
In her practice, Zeren uses a combination of evidence-based therapeutic
interventions and techniques, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and

Masters of Clinical Psychology
Nazli is the founder and Director of Solace Psychology. She is passionate about mental health services and the impact that it can have on people’s lives. She believes that through developing an understanding of our minds and emotions we can greatly improve our connection with ourselves and others.
Nazli has assessed and treated adolescents, adults and older adults across a range of inpatient and outpatient settings in Australia’s largest private hospitals where she has also designed and facilitated an outpatient mindfulness compassion group therapy program.
She is trained in a number of trauma-focused therapies, including DBT (Dialectic Behavioural Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Schema Therapy, and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). She is committed to her ongoing development and training. Nazli supervises psychologists and clinical registrars in a broad range of therapies.

Michelle has completed research projects in the areas of mindfulness and resilience. Physiotherapist: Michael Morcos
Michael has developed experience across multiple Private Practice clinics across melbourne and has begun following his passion in the sporting world, developing a keen interest in sporting injuries and rehabilitative care, with a focus on Headache and Shoulder, Necks, Ankle and Spinal injuries and management. Michael has also had affiliations with tennis coaches and gymnastic physicians that have assisted his interests in sporting rehabilitation for all ages. Since Michael has completed his training in South Australia, he has worked in alongside multiple Clinicians, Sporting Physicians, Orthopaedic Surgeons and Medical professionals in the Northern Suburbs. He has recently begun designing Rehabilitation Protocol with Orthopaedic Surgeons for Post-operative Ankle Rehabilitation.

As a Senior Physiotherapist Michael has gained considerable experience working in Sports Private Physiotherapy across several clinical sites in Melbourne and across Victoria. Michael has a keen interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation and in 2007 began his work with both the Old Essendon Grammar Football club and the St. George Knights soccer club. Since having completed his training in Physiotherapy Michael has worked in conjunction with several Sports teams, Clinicians, Orthopaedic Surgeons and Medical Professionals across the Northern Suburbs. He is currently involved in clinical trials evaluating Shoulder, Hip and Knee outcomes in addition to designing rehabilitation Protocol with Orthopaedic Surgeons for post-operative Hip and Knee rehabilitation.

Patients who hold a Medicare card will be bulk billed.
If you call our usual telephone number outside our opening hours, a message will advise you to call the above number for after hours care.
Additional after hours services for severe problems are available through the following:
Private Hospital Emergency Departments at the Epworth Richmond Hospital (94266303), John Fawkner Hospital (93852266). These hospitals will charge a service fee.
Public Hospital Emergency Departments at St Vincent's Hospital (9288 4356), Royal Melbourne Hospital (9342 7000), Royal Women's Hospital (emergency 8345 3600) , Austin Hospital (emergency 9496 5000) and Mercy Hospital for Women (emergency 8458 4000) No appointment required for emergencies.
These hospitals do not charge a service fee.
You can also contact the Ambulance Service directly by calling 000. We strongly recommend patients hold ambulance cover.
Home visits are available for regular patients of the clinic who are too ill or elderly to attend the surgery.
Visits are also made to local nursing homes and hostels.
Please call the clinic as early as possible if you may require a home visit. Only some doctors are available for home visits. There may be out of pocket fees for this service. If your doctor is unable to visit we may assist you to call the locum service.
